Saturday, September 21

9 AM to 5 PM: Active Endeavors Health & Fitness Expo

TaxSlayer Center located at 1201 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265.
This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

  • 40+ Booths featuring health and fitness products and information.
  • Official race merchandise sales.
  • Race Registration for  Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, 5K, 1 Mile Run & Walk, Pump N' Run.
  • Race Registration for Happy Joe's Micromarathon Kids Races. Choose your distance: 1/4, 1/2 or 1 Mile Fun Run
  • Packet Pick-Up
  • Speakers throughout the day, check schedule below

10 AM to 5 PM: Body Dnynamics Pump N' Run for the 5K, half and full marathons on Sunday, September 22nd.

Bench and curl a percentage of your body weight at the Expo to earn a reduction in your race day run-time. This registration is a separate fee from the race fee. 

8 AM (tentative): Morning Shake-Out Run. Location: in front of the TaxSlayer Center. 

Come run with running motivators. Run at your pace and enjoy this casual shake-out run. Light refreshments to follow. 

10 AMRudy's Tacos 1 Mile Run & Walk for Prostate Cancer.

Come support awareness and education efforts for Prostate Cancer with this competitive one mile run and walk. An optional commemorative race bib will be available at the Expo at the Greater QC Prostate Cancer Support Group booth for participants to add the name of the person they are honoring.

11:30 AM: Bus Tours of Marathon Course

Tour by MetroLINK departing at 11:30 a.m. This tour will follow the Marathon course as closely as possible. Departing from the TaxSlayer Center parking lot. Anyone 16 years old and older is required to have personal identification, such as a driver's license, for access on to the Rock Island Arsenal.

1:00 PM: Presentation.  Speaker TBA

NOON Happy Joe's Kids Micro-Marathon

These non-competitive events are designed for fun and fitness. Open to children of all ages and abilities. The event includes jump houses, balloons, face painting and best of all... Happy Joe's Pizza! Tee shirts and goodie bags and a finishers medal  to all finishers.

3:00 PM: Presentation.  Speaker TBA

3:30 PM: Runner's Session with Race Director, Joe Moreno

Featuring course talks reviewing the ins and outs of the Quad Cities Marathon course and appearances by special speakers. Pace Group leaders discussing how a pace group can help you get to the finish line in your goal time.


Sunday, September 22

7:00 AM- Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay Race Start Time

The Quad Cities Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay will begin promptly at 7:00 AM in downtown Moline, IL.

7:15 AM- 5K Start Time

A post race party with chiropractic care, massages, music, food, drinks, a PR Bell, and more await the runners at the finish. 

If you are 21 years and over and want to enjoy a beer at the finish line, you'll need a wristband. Please bring a photo ID to packet pick-up at the expo so you can get a wristband identifying that you're of age. No wristband? No beer. We'd hate for you to miss out.
