THE Quad Cities Marathon: Interstate Road Warriors

The Interstate Road
Warriors...............

The real VIP's of the QCMarathon. These folks are
unique and very special as they have run ALL 10 Quad
Cities Marathons!

In the late '90's there were several hundred from
all over the US. Today this elite group of gritty,
dedicated, and persistent individuals has only 35
left, from 4 states (Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and
Nebraska). Comprised of 8 women, 27 men, the youngest
IRW is 26, most senior is 65.

They epitomize what hard work, dedication,
perseverance stands for. Like their leader and fellow
IRW, Cindy DeWulf, they're tough as nails and
relentless in their goals.

"May the roads ahead continue to be good to you all
as your drive and motivation inspires the rest of us!"
Thank you all,
Joe Moreno, Founder and Race
Director, Quad Cities Marathon
